Stage Leadership Development or Vertical Learning
Dec 06, 201584% of the Executive Population (amongst the thousands who have been assessed) are anchored at Achiever and below.
Specialists and Achievers operate extremely well in the corporate world but they are not able to bring about transformational change. However this is not because they do not have the latent capacity to do so.
It is simply because conventional operating systems in organizations are seriously inhibiting our natural development as leaders and the latest findings in neuroscience, emotional awareness, psychological development and spiritual intelligence have yet to be widely disseminated.
Developing leadership capacity is a process of deepening our self-awareness and stretching ourselves to higher possibilities. By resolving past hurts that have become pain points causing us to react, and lifting our anchoring point beyond our current capacity, we stretch and grow as leaders.
At each stage we take our strengths with us and delve deeper into developing our conscious awareness of who we are and how we have become the person we are today. First we heal our egoic needs and then surrender our personal will to develop peace of mind. Once we reach the stage of Strategist at Calm, we are able to stand on higher ground and be a role model for others.
There are no shortcuts but there is a fast track! We are each a continuing evolving masterpiece-in-progress playing roles for and with each other to further our mutual advancement as a society and as a civilisation.
